Booker DeWitt has only one chance to start over. He is in debt to the wrong people, his life is in danger, and he is a hero of the U.S. Cavalry who is now working as a hired gun. He has to free Elizabeth, a mystery girl who has been locked up in the flying city of Columbia since she was a child. During their dangerous escape, Booker and Elizabeth become very close because they have to trust each other. As they fight on zeppelins in the clouds, along fast Sky-Lines, and in the streets of Columbia, they learn how to use a growing number of weapons and skills. They also have to stay alive in the dangerous air-city and find out its dark secret.
