Behind the Lines is a simple and fun real-time strategy game set in World War II. If you want to protect your troops and lead it to victory, you can build basements, fortifications, or even artilleries. Along with a story mode and a level to help you get started, the game has a skirmish mode and a zombie mode. Every time there is a fight, the complexly designed AI acts differently, being more or less aggressive, defensive, or passive.

Basic: The game takes place during the Second World War. The story gives you between 2 and 5 hours of gameplay. The zombie mode and the combat mode can be played separately or together, giving you more time to play.

Art Style: As far as real-time strategy games go, this one is truly one of a kind. It has a comical low poly style and bright colours. The game is already a lot of fun, but the smooth graphics, well-thought-out GUI, and exciting background music and effects make it even better.

Skirmish: You can pick which side to fight for (Allied powers vs. Axis powers) in skirmish and fight the AI however you want. Both you and the AI start out with little money and troops. You win when you destroy your opponent completely or hit the limit of capture points.

Zombie Mode: You have to stay alive as long as possible after starting with only a few men. Every two to three minutes, waves start. The zombies get stronger and more of them with each wave. You only have so much money and ammo, so every choice you make must be well thought out.
