Berlin, 2048, The world is about to end. Lack of resources, illnesses brought on by contaminated water and air, an increase in crime, and war. Both businesses and governments claim that advances in technology will provide solutions. In the public sector, human workers are replaced by drones and humanoid robots; everything is networked, and surveillance is pervasive.

Among the few reporters who publicly criticizes this situation is Richard Nolan. Richard discovers he and his family have entered a fierce debate between dystopian reality and digital paradise on humanity’s salvation after he awakens from an explosion in the hospital and discovers that his wife and son have mysteriously disappeared. Rather, they discover that they are at its epicenter.

This home drama develops into a thriller concerning a global conspiracy with the primary goal of deciding humanity’s fate: Is the solution a perfect digital utopia?
